The boffix story

Boffix was born out of an idea to make setting up and growing a business easy.

The concept itself was developed and brought to life by entrepreneur Miles Dobson. A builder and commercial property investor, he has set up and run numerous successful businesses over the past 20 years, so he’s no stranger to the highs and lows of the start-up world.

When starting a new business, you may need the support services of a fully functioning office, but you don’t necessarily need all the physical office space, the desk and the chairs. Recognising this, Miles identified that a flexible solution was needed. The idea behind the company name was simply ‘office in a box’, so the term boffix was coined. In other words, a way to easily access all the office support services you need, in one place, delivered as a virtual, cloud-based service.

With boffix, you benefit from the ease of having expert support as your business expands, without all the complications and needless expense of creating and running a business in the traditional way. That includes avoiding hefty recruitment costs – especially in the early stages when you’re just finding your feet.
